To this day and since it opened in 2016, Topgolf Las Vegas has been the flagship location for the innovative golf entertainment company and its largest venue in the United States. The venue attracts thousands of golfers and non-golfers annually, and in 2024 established new partnerships to confirm that locals are always more than welcome.
If you don’t know already, Topgolf Las Vegas is located on the MGM Grand property just off Koval with upfront and free parking available most days and nights, just steps away from the venue. On the off times when the lot is closed due to an MGM event, free, validated parking is available a short walk away at the MGM.
Topgolf Las Vegas highlights include a stunning 4-level, 105,000 square-foot facility with 120 bays, dramatic and epic large screens at the end of the hitting area in addition to TVs in each bay, The Yard entertainment area also with huge TV screens, five bars, two pools, VIP cabanas and suites, a Callaway Fitting Studio, pro shop, and more.
Whew! Even with such a solid following and high-level brand recognition, Topgolf and Topgolf Las Vegas continue to push forward and create new ideas and ways to attract golfers.
Locally, Topgolf Las Vegas is embracing a partnership with the Southern Nevada Golf Association to drive members to play, while also offering free one-hour game play cards when golfers join the SNGA Topgolf Las Vegas member club. Plus, the SNGA held its first-ever SNGA Social Series event, which was a sellout. Plans are in the works for the second-annual SNGA Topgolf Social Series to be held in 2025. Topgolf also held a giveaway for Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members for the weeklong Topgolf Summer Academy in 2024.
Something else to remember about Topgolf Las Vegas is that it is also a terrific Sports Watch Destination, whether you are hitting in the bays or just want to gather with friends and fellow fans to watch the big game or event.
Topgolf Las Vegas offers UFC watch parties and recently also held a watch party for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The big games and events are always on at Topgolf Las Vegas giant screens and bar areas. You can watch for free throughout the venue and pair the game with upscale food and beverage.

Also in 2024, Topgolf Las Vegas was home to the release of The Sure Thing, a new club that allows any level of golfer to make solid contact. It seems too good to be true, but the results prove that it makes the game more fun and a little easier. If you haven’t hit The Sure Thing yet, now is the time to give it a try. The Sure Thing lives up to its name and is magical. I have seen it in action, and it helps generate more fun for everyone. The club was designed with a shorter shaft, a 20-degree loft angle, enormous clubface, and proprietary tongue-in-cheek “chicken wing” technology.
“I have never hit with this, and now that I have, it just seems like it goes,” says Jimmy J. from Utah, after trying The Sure Thing at Topgolf Las Vegas. “I mean, it’s not slicing. I could hit a mishit and it’s still going pretty straight. Yeah, this is a pretty sure thing. I tried to get the ball to turn, and it wouldn’t turn. As far as Topgolf, if this is the first time you’ve done it, this would probably be the club you’d want to use.” The only bad news about The Sure Thing is that you can’t buy it for your regular game on the course, as it is only available at Topgolf Las Vegas and other venues. But we can hope, right?
But if you are looking to improve your game on the course and/or upgrade your equipment, Topgolf Las Vegas has game improvement and development covered. The state-of-the-art Callaway Fitting Studio is headed by Lindsay Hoskins, the director of instruction and a UNLV Professional Golf Management graduate, and instructors Justin Alonzo (UNLV PGA) and Noah Espeleta. The fitting studio features the Foresight Launch Monitor and other key swing measurement tools plus a wide array of shafts and clubs to test. “We have thousands of different club head and shaft combinations to build the perfect club for you and your swing,” Hoskins says. “We also have state-of-the-art technology with our Foresight Launch Monitor. This technology allows us to get all the numbers on your swing to build the perfect club. We can look at numbers such as ball speed, clubhead speed, spin, and launch rates to make sure that we have a club that is optimized for your swing.”
The expert Topgolf Las Vegas coaches are available for lessons and/or official Callaway Golf club fittings, including free club fittings on Fridays with purchase. The Topgolf learning and fitting experience is done in a fun and relaxed setting just steps away from the outside hitting area.
Topgolf continues to embrace the younger generation, which is gravitating more and more to the grand ole game. A blend of golf and gaming has been in full swing at Topgolf and continues with the launch of the Topgolf Sonic the Hedgehog Game ™ in the fall of 2024. The Topgolf Sonic the Hedgehog Game at Topgolf Las Vegas features the Toptracer technology with the digital game experience that players love. Other games to play at Topgolf Las Vegas include Angry Birds and Block Party, while for those who want more a “golfy” game experience, there are several popular options.
Top Pressure is this writer’s favorite when accuracy is awarded, but many prefer to play Virtual Courses that include Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and other top layouts from around the world. The signature game is “Topgolf” that features targets and ways to activate scoring streaks and bonus multipliers.

Our company provided us with a team building experience at Top Golf. Our group of 12 made a reservation approximately 5 days prior to the event. The place was not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Only a few of us know how to play golf. Despite not knowing how to swing, we still had fun and enjoyed laughing at each other in a good way LOL!!!
Food: The menu was a variety of bar foods, breakfast foods, samplers, etc. All of us enjoyed the wings and the sharable item. The orders came out quickly and the taste was as expected.
Service: The server was extremely patient with us. She made an effort to ensure that every order was accurate. She always checked on us.
