Set amid the rugged beauty of South Reno’s high desert landscape, Wolf Run Golf Club offers a distinctive Northern Nevada golf experience. Rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers, natural waterways, and gentle elevation changes create a layout that challenges experienced players while remaining approachable for golfers of varying skill levels. Throughout the round, expansive views of Mt. Rose, the Sierra Nevada, downtown Reno, and the surrounding valleys provide a dramatic backdrop.
Designed by John Fleming, Wolf Run was thoughtfully routed through the existing terrain, incorporating native sagebrush, rugged rock formations, rolling contours, and natural waterways into the design. The contrast between manicured fairways and the surrounding high-desert landscape gives the course a strong sense of place, while the varied terrain and fast greens add character and challenge to the round.
Beyond the course, Wolf Run offers a range of amenities designed to round out the golf experience. Golfers can work on their game at the putting green or self-service driving range, which features premium mats and quality range balls. Full-service club repair is also available for players looking to keep their equipment in top condition. Duncan Golf Management’s professional team assists with everything from tee times and tournament planning to corporate outings and on-course event logistics.
After the round, The Grill at Wolf Run provides a comfortable place to relax and take in the scenery. The clubhouse restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, along with a full-service bar and patio seating overlooking the surrounding high desert.
